Project 365

one of my new years resolutions is to be a better blogger. Not for your sake but mine. So project 365 is to have a post every day. I know this is a big endevour and i will really have to focus -not a strong point...but my friends/family will really get an idea of how exciting my life really is-or isn't. And since most of my resolutions are rationalized away by mid-january we will see how this really goes. But until then....here we go.

Chubby Church

Here I am, chubby. sigh.

Never been chubby before, this is new...sigh.

How the hell did I get here? How the crap does one person pack on 20 lbs in a blink of a eye? I know what kind of person. ME!!!! because i love REALLY good food. Fatty food, cream, pastry, Nutty Bars ( hey don't mock them) creamy sauces. Cookies, cake, etc. But they don't love me. damn.

These are the things that go thru my brain, on a regular basis.
So..... I joined Chubby Church. aka Weight Watchers.

I am committed to losing 25 lbs. I have some really great friends to help me on my way.

I went running today for the first time in oh 3.5 years, It felt awesome! More energy, endorphins.

I can do hard things. I can do what I don't normaly do. Eat what I don't normaly eat.

down 5 lbs. so far so good. i will keep you posted.

Really...Really.....

SNL does the "Really..." section of the news so here is mine for the day. Really.

Stayed up till 2am looking for the damn cat "kitten" that we adopted 3 weeks ago. Really? Never did find it. Really! It has now been missing almost 24 hours. Really! I feel so sad. Really! Really responsible.

Get a call from Heath. "ah honey the car needs new tires, its going to be around $500" Really. Oh and the brakes are metal on metal. It needs new brakes and rotors." Really! "400" Really. Really!

"Addi are you pooping your pants----again" Really!

45 min nap from Addi , after coaxing her to sleep for 30 mins ......Really, Really!

Another call from Heath--"car isn't going to be done today--still down to one car till tomorrow" Really!!! Really!


I have a sore throat and a horrible cold. Really! oh and allergies on top of it. Really!

Oh and I just sneezed and wet my pants. Really!

Ava and Addi....TROUBLE!!!! with a big ol' "T"!!! I have a feeling it isn't going to get easier either. These funny little farts are best buddies. also each others scape-goat, accomplice, and in the not to far future get-away-car. Loni and I can always count on finding both of these girlies up to something. Getting into grandma's fabric and sewing room. Letting Max the dog out of his pen, jumping on top of the wood pile for no other reason because mom's say "NO" My mom told me I would get a daughter just like me, she was right. I'm in TROUBLE if she does half the stuff I got away with.

Confessions

Sweet Michelle put hers up, so here are mine, don't judge me

1-I love my job, not many people can say that-but not many people enjoy gross things that come out of peoples mouths...weird
2-I have diet coke usually before 8am-nothing like the first morning burn
3- I hate lds historical fiction, Work in the Glory, Undaunted-Gag! I'm with you on Jane Austen Michelle,
4-I love to read. anything than the above mentioned
5-I hate being alone during the day, I feel vulnerable.
6-Since turning 30 I have gained 8lbs and now I wear glasses, but i still feel like I am 16 inside. Do you.
7- I have a housekeeper. My splurge during the month.
8-i go to sleep before 9pm most nights
9- I love to sew but hate cutting patterns,
10- my closet is a mess!!!!! It drives heath crazy, i love it:)
11-Addi still wakes up in the night because I am a wimp and don't let her cry it out.
12-I've eaten a whole pecan pie by myself before, then had to make a new one to cover my gluttony- Heath asks "want any pie" no I'm good.
13- my kid eats chicken nuggets every day.
14-i have two dresser drawers full of "stretchy pants" pathetic
15- i hate to scrapbook-it a genetic disorder-I'm seeing a counselor
16- i yell at Addi way more than i should.

NO NAP....WHAT!!!! my life is over-I am sure of it

Addi is sick with the crud ie... runny nose, coughing, etc. I can usually handle the sickies. But the last two days have been a nightmare.
Addi the "puke-aholic" any time she has a coughing attack throws up. why... I have done 12 loads of laundry in the past two days, been thrown up on 3 times- THIS I can deal with.

Waking herself up from her nap after 20 mins because of a coughing fit is TO MUCH.

You know the whole gig about the Lord doesn't give us challenges that we cant handle. It is not the case this time my friends. Oh No. This has happened the last two days. I am going to die. Please tell me there is hope. Lord I need it.

potty party...my new smile.

potty training is not for the weak at heart i have decided.
"It is hell" as my sister in law lindsey put it.
Once again I feel inadequate as a mother and completely clueless
oh well i figure she wont go to college in diapers.
Me and LeRoy (Addi's nick name) have been at it two days and.....
I still don't know what I am doing, neither does she. who gives a shit. I give up.
I'm pooped, she hasn't ( in the pot anyway) . And my couch now smells like urine. awesome!

On a brighter note I am now the proud owner of a new improved smile. after about 8 hours in the dental chair and alot of Advil. It is finished. quite an undertaking. no pictures. just happiness. I have wanted to do it for a while. I decided that I am going to be 30, I might as well be happy with one part of me. Couldn't be happier. :)
